join me in praising God!
jedi has beaten a majority of the odds set against him- all through the power of my prayer warriors' intercessions. thank you!
it's funny and so heartwarming to see a little goose egg over in the pregnancy countdown widget on the left.:)
here's an update-
i went to doctor tate's yesterday for a tummy check and he said things look good.
i'm measuring 35.5 weeks.
he's head down.
his heartrate was holding at the 140 range or slightly higher.
he's still kicking strong.
my amniotic fluid was a bit low but nothing pounding water can't take care of.
i'm about 2 cm dilated.
my new prayer request is for peace and assurance. i just need to know on a deeper level that God is taking care of all of us. that everything is in His hands and not to worry too much about an induction.
as always, thank you so much for your prayers and kind comments.

You don't know me. I'm a friend of Fr. Joe's from Emmitsburg. I've been following your blog for a while now and I just wanted you to know that I've been praying and sacrificing for Jedi, you and your family. It's always been comforting (and amazing to me)when someone I don't know or know by association says to me "I've been praying for you." We truly are one family in Christ. Today I am saying prayers of thanksgiving and I will continue to pray for your intentions and Jedidiah Joseph!

So as I read your blog this beautiful song is playing. As I read how you need to be reminded that God 'has this'...that God is in charge...that He has ONLY your best in mind this song plays....should you forget, should you forget, that I believe in you, should you forget let me remind you that I AM BEHIND YOU! DON'T BE AFRAID.
ReplyDeleteThis is the reality....the end of this pregnancy is already planned out, the story already written we are just waiting for God to share it with us. This is where our Faith comes in. Just as a normal pregnancy you are looking toward the end, you are wondering what day your beautiful child will come into the world and call it's birthday...its just in this case Jedi will have some things that make the anticipation stressful. But in that anxiety don't forget the beauty of what you have been given for the last 40 weeks! A beautiful child...a beautiful reminder of how precious life is and how precious your relationship with God is!
Jedidiah has already moved mountains and he isn't even here in the outside world yet!
There will be so much joy in Jedidiah's birth Elizabeth....don't forget that! And just don't forget that birth plan we all need a good birth plan. ;)
Much love and prayers for you and the fam!!!!!!
Laura
Such great news!!! Praise to God for His faithfulness. He is faithful to Jedi too!
ReplyDeleteI have had the pleasure of meeting your sister here in Mobile, AL. I have been thinking of you and your sweet baby during these last few weeks. I know you have so much Grace surrounding you in these last moments..but I just wanted to say hi and tell you I have been keeping you and all your children in my prayers and in my heart.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless each of your moments with him..now and forever!
Lisa
I am so happy for you. I remember beating the odds with Matthew. No doctor thought they'd see us at the next appt and at times were hesitant to even schedule us "three or four weeks "out. I Am so happy for you and you witness to life to others around you.
ReplyDeleteWe are continuing to pray for you and your family. This is already lovely news! Strength and peace.
