we have our whole family under one roof. it was nice to be able to
adjust to having jedi home while the kids were so wholesomely occupied
at the lakehouse- but i had been anxious to see how we'd do all
together again.
last night the kids took turns holding him.
"he's such a little gift", i said.
samantha, while holding him, said, "what's that saying about little
packages?"
"the best gifts come in small packages?" i offered.
"yeah."
"no",max chimed in. "he's a big big gift in a small body."
sometimes kids just say the most perfect things at the right times...
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you have your family back under one roof. That was the one of hardest parts of the journey for us.
ReplyDeleteYou have done such a fine job with guiding your children through Jedi's adventure. I wish I had you as a model when mine were growing up.
such a testament to the example you have been for your children! it warms one's heart to see how they are so strong in their faith.
ReplyDeleteDitto to what Julia said.
ReplyDeleteI think and pray for you everyday, Elizabeth. I pray for the things you said we might dare to pray for... for your family, for Fr. Kevin and for Jedidiah.
Your example helps me as a mother, wife, sister, and daughter, and most of all daughter in Christ.
Thank you, Elizabeth, and thank God for your truthfulness and humility.
